Multi-location fitness studio
Constant trial enquiries, no follow-up, and no idea what the trial-to-member rate is. A booking-led site with the full response and reminder layer behind it.
An invented business, built to show how the system works when the problem is specific. Every design and engineering decision here is real. The company is not, and no result, metric or testimonial is claimed.
The brief
Three boutique studios in one city. Class-based, membership revenue, high enquiry volume at low individual value.
Approach
Make booking a trial the only thing the site asks for, then build the response layer that decides whether that trial becomes a membership.

The situation
Trial enquiries arrive constantly and convert poorly, and nobody can say how poorly because the number has never been measured. Class booking happens over messaging. No-shows are routine and absorbed. Nobody follows up with someone who attended a trial and did not join — which is the single most winnable conversation the business has.
The approach
One action, reachable from anywhere. Book a trial class, one tap from any point on the site. Live schedule by location, instructor profiles that give the place a face. Built for someone standing on a pavement on a mid-range phone, which makes this the right project to hold the performance standard against.
Capture the context at the same time. Location and class time collected in the same step as the booking, so the first reply is already specific.
This is the response layer, in full. Immediate confirmation. A reminder before the class, which is what actually moves the no-show rate. A follow-up within the hour afterward, while the experience is fresh. A membership sequence for trial attendees who did not convert. Win-back for lapsed members.
Measure the number nobody had. Trial-to-member conversion, by location and by class time, reported monthly. Not so it can be put in a deck — so the schedule can be changed.
Visual direction
Kinetic but disciplined. High-energy photography, strong type, confident color — deliberately more expressive than the interior design concept, to prove range. Motion restricted to state transitions and the booking flow. Nothing ambient.
